Apple iPad Air (M3, 2025) Review: A Powerful Tablet That Feels Stale

 

Apple's midrange tablet is now an option for creatives and gamers alike, but it lacks exciting upgrades all around.

M3 offers a bit of a performance boost. Equipped with advanced graphics architecture. Supports the new Magic Keyboard Case. Supports Apple Intelligence. 5G connectivity.

Still heavier and thicker than the iPad Pro. Still a basic LCD screen. Expensive with accessories. Battery life remains the same. No new color options. iPadOS continues to be a pain to use.

The iPad Air only serves one purpose for Apple: upselling you a Pro

 

Deliberate or not, Apple diluted the iPad Air into a worse iPad Pro rather than its own unique device.
