Beautifully designed and endowed with abundant horsepower, the iPad Pro may not be fully realized until the software catches up.
Nice OLED display. Slightly larger screen size on bigger model. M4 chip. Thinner and lighter. Double the base storage. Landscape camera. The new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro extend its capabilities.
Expensive. The M4’s full potential might be locked behind a future software update. Still just a single USB-C port. iPadOS continues to be frustrating to use.

I used the 13-inch iPad Pro M4 for nearly six months, and it continues to be incredible. The best hardware, the best OLED panel, and the best software ecosystem — the iPad Pro M4 easily outshines anything else available today.
Tandem OLED is incredible ; Thinner and lighter than previous models ; Unmatched performance ; Best software platform for creatives ; Great onboard sound ; Standout accessory ecosystem ; Front camera is finally in a sensible location ; Better battery...
Costly ; 30W charging
Thanks to a new tandem OLED panel with exquisite colors and contrast levels, the iPad Pro M4 has a considerable advantage over its predecessor. You're getting the best hardware in this class, and the battery life is outstanding. The sleek design makes...

Unsurprisingly, the Apple iPad Pro 2024 aims to be the best iPad ever. Our review reveals whether this is really the case and why it is so good.
Sensational display ; Thin and light body ; Very good battery life ; Ultra-fast Apple M4 processor
Expensive peripherals required for a PC-like experience
I'll be honest. I'll probably never be able to take advantage of the full power of the M4 chip. Although I connected the iPad to my Studio Display via Thunderbolt (which is only possible with the Pro version) today and was able to work as though I was...

Apple's 13-inch iPad Pro is a testament to the power and efficiency of Apple Silicon, but WWDC has to address at least some of the shortcomings of iPadOS for those hardware upgrades to mean anything.

Apple iPad Pro with M4 chipset is more powerful than ever, sleeker than ever, and more versatile than ever. It is expensive but it is also a tool that does what a regular tablet or a laptop cannot. And that makes it extremely useful, almost essential,...

Yet, the iPad Pro M4 is special. It is a work tool, if you have the work that needs its capabilities and feature set. For example, artists, sketchers, illustrators, musicians, filmmakers and so on and so forth may find it a life-changing tool. So, if...

The upgrades aren't exciting enough for you to switch from an M1 iPad Air.
Upgraded M2 chip ; Front-facing camera is landscape now ; A new 13-inch design
Same Liquid Retina Display ; Still no face ID ; Heavier and thicker than the 13-inch M4 iPad Pro
Apple iPad Air M2 13-Inch If you're upgrading from an M1 iPad Air, either sit this generation out or invest in the M4 iPad Pro. With its new squeeze and barrel roll features, the makes drawing significantly easier (and more enjoyable). I’m not an...

The iPad Pro with M4 and OLED is significantly more powerful and colorful than the previous generation. It's also still just an iPad.
A beautiful OLED screen ; Ultra-thin and light ; Plenty of power for most tasks on iPad
iPadOS still doesn’t offer the “everything” experience ; Cameras aren’t anything to write home about
iPad Pro M4 The iPad Pro with M4 chip is beautiful and powerful, and now it just needs a base software that can support those capabilities. The M4 iPad Pro seems built to be an alternative everything device to the Macbook. Thanks to a new, bright OLED...
