Barnes & Noble Nook Color

Bright, 7-inch LCD screen with 16 million colors. Intuitive touch-based navigation. Runs third-party apps. Deep social integration. Lots of periodicals available

No 3G, just Wi-Fi connectivity. Proprietary AC adapter. Battery life is short for a dedicated ebook reader

More than an ebook reader, less than a full-blown tablet, the Nook Color's artful compromises make for a compelling, color reading experience that is ideal for both books and magazines.

Barnes & Noble NOOK Color

Dubbed as the "Reader's Tablet," Barnes & Noble's NOOK Color comes with a 7-inch 1024x600 pixels capacitive touchscreen and Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes with BN's software for easy access to books, magazines, newspapers and interactive kids books....

Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast, 32GB microSD card included, Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape

Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen, No 4G LTE power toggle option, Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

"B&N Service and Nook Color Sucks"

Save your money and do not buy an electronic device from B&N. Aside from the poor customer service you have a "Designed for Defect" product. So the question is, do you want to replace the thing and throw more money at a know defective and irreparable...

Works for the first few months.

Be prepared to buy lots of power cords. Be prepared to buy a refurbished junker for $85 when the power connector on the device fails.

Can't do without my Nook Color

With my Nook Color, I can read and play games anywhere. When traveling with others, I can read all night without ever turning on the light and disturbing my companions, and if I fall asleep while reading, it turns itself off to save battery life. With...

This has it all in one simple device. I can play games, read and go on-line. Whenever I lose power because of a storm, I can still read with my Nook. The battery life allows me plenty of reading/game playing time. Recharges in car if needed.

I haven't found any. I love this product!

"Very good product"

Excellent product. I put off buying this and now I don't know how I managed without this for so long. I can read in bed while on business trips without bothering anyone else who may be sharing the room with me. I can also read when a passenger on long...

Large screen that is good for reading and games. No lights need to be on in the room so as not to disturb others you may be sharing room with. Turns itself on to sleep mode when idle for a bit.

The only problem was with the first power cord. It split when I coiled it for storage. New cord was $30 and I no longer coil it.

Received as Present-Glad I did not Purchase

This reader should be compatable with Nook study and though I have read a lot of forums regarding this issue I have found no plans by Barnes and Noble to do so. I would recomend this as a reader only and not as a tablet.

WiFi Updates

Touch Screen needs to be addressed-it often chooses the wrong item or does not recognize the touch. Freezes often. Not linked with Nook Study.
