Huawei IDEOS S7

Huawei IDEOS S7 is sort of an entry-level 7-inch WVGA (800x480 pixels) Android tablet with 3G connectivity. Specs wise, it comes with a 2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, 768MHz processor and a memory card slot.

Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast, 32GB microSD card included, Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape

Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen, No 4G LTE power toggle option, Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

The first and foremost thing that will really enchant you towards it is its thin and light chassis. Icing on the cake, it is ideal for surfing the Web and multitasking

On its downside, the Huawei Ideos S7 does not comes with a built-in memory, which is not expected from a tablet

Looking on to the overall performance of the Huawei Ideos S7, it can be concluded that Huawei Ideos S7 is a mediocre performer and if you are thinking to invest this much amount, then you can consider the other brands as its alternatives.

Huawei S7 Review

Whilst we have seen a fair amount of Android tablets appearing lately, some we have to say, have proven more effective than others. With the Toshiba Folio 100 selling poorly, the budget giants Huawei have released their own tablet into the market to...

Goondu review: Huawei Ideos S7

As we roll into 2011, and a whole slew of new tablets are set to be launched at CES next week, I'm worrying a little for folks who are selling Huawei's Ideos S7 tablet.

Plus, Apple is said to be readying a followup to the original iPad, which could either be cheaper or could actually drive prices down for its older iPad in the coming months. That would make tablets like the Huawei Ideos S7 look rather unattractive.

Huawei have impressed me with this one. Coming in at a nice price, with a great build and host of desirable specs. The UI refinements are the highlight for me, whilst not ground-breaking they are thoughtful and useful. When a capacitive display and an...

Huawei Ideos Tablet S7 – review

With poor battery life and unresponsive screen, this device just doesn't cut it. So at least it's cheap

well, it's cheap

battery life, screen, stylus, proprietary charger, old version of Android – need I go on

But wait! It's a resistive screen, not a capacitive one. So what you actually need is the stylus tucked away around the back of the device

Huawei IDEOS Black Tablet - Android 2.1 / 7" Touch Screen / GPS (S7)

Great for gifts

Great price, does everything ipad does and more, can put sim card in and be used as phone

pretty heavy, barely fits in my pocket, the touch screen takes some getting used to

Very nice hardware - BUT THE MARKET DOES NOT WORK

I wish it worked, it really does seem like a very well made, polished, hardware wise, device.

The hardware is very nice. Has a feel of quality to it. Well built. Good looking

1. It's a resistive screen on this model ; 2. AND THE DEAL KILLER: THE MARKET DOES NOT WORK. I've had one of these for six months and about two months ago, the market stopped working. Since then, I've, along with Huawei, several times reset it to...
