Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review

Once again, Lenovo came really close to making a great tablet, but one major flaw keeps the IdeaPad A2109 from a wholehearted recommendation.

Once again, Lenovo came really close to making a great tablet, but one major flaw keeps the IdeaPad A2109 from a wholehearted recommendation. The display’s narrow viewing angles will affect media lovers and gamers more than people who mainly use their...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 is a typical midrange Android tablet that does little to distinguish itself from the pack, save for its in-between 9-inch screen size.

Affordable for a large-screen tablet. Fast Tegra 3 processor. Integrated microSD and micro HDMI ports.

Chunky design. Mediocre display.

Conclusions The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 doesn't do enough to stand out. Its unconventional screen size may appeal to those torn between the 7-inch and 10-inch form factors, but the low-quality screen should be a concern. And while it's buoyed by a Tegra 3...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 review

First unveiled during IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany, the IdeaTab A2109 is one of two recently released Android 4.0 tablets from Lenovo.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 sports a snappy quad-core CPU, features expandable storage and an HDMI output, and is reasonably priced at $300.

The IdeaTab A2109's display is unimpressive, it has a bulky build, and it has disappointing video recording quality.

Despite having a decent price tag and zippy processor, the Lenovo IdeaTab A2109's screen is just too drab to consider.

Review Lenovo IdeaTab A2109A Tablet

Budget Performer. Lenovo updates the IdeaTab A series with both 7-inch and 9-inch offerings, each with a Tegra 3 processor, metal roll cage and aluminum housing. For around $269, is this tough tablet enough to convince users on a budget?

Safety frame made of metal and an aluminium case, High contrast ratio, Good speakers, Mini-HDMI port and a Micro-SD card reader, Two microphones, Front and back cameras, The A2109 does many things right and is a definite improvement over the A1. The...

Very poor viewing angles, Display is not very bright; Outdoor use is limited, Average User Interface performance, Average battery life, Color reproduction is limited, Flimsy microSD cover, The tablet is screaming for a higher quality display in terms...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review

It's time to have a peek at Lenovo's next big crack at the tablet game with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a massive set of built-in apps on a quad-core processor-toting 9-inch tablet by the name of IdeaTab A2109 . This device's NVIDIA Tegra 3...

This device is a good effort from Lenovo, but put up in a competition against the rest of the Tegra 3 tablets we’ve seen, it’s just a bit lacking. If you’re looking for a 9-inch tablet with NVIDIA processing power inside it, this is your best bet,...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review

Just like the other PC vendors making the plunge into the competitive Android tablet market, Lenovo is getting its feet wet with the newly available Lenovo IdeaTab A2109. Instead of being forgotten amongst the heap of other comparable options out...

300 price point for a 9-inch tablet ; NVIDIA quad-core CPU ; Brushed metallic casing

Low quality display ; Muddy quality with photo/video capture

Being a relatively new player in the Android tablet space, Lenovo clearly has the formula in conjuring up a respectable tablet – albeit, they still have a lot to learn before being regarded as a contender. When we think of value, there's no denying...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 is a 9-inch tablet with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, 16GB of built-in storage and a memory card slot.

Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast, 32GB microSD card included, Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape

Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen, No 4G LTE power toggle option, Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

Consumer electronics products from Lenovo are usually expected to deliver plenty of value for the money, and the IdeaTab A2109 tablet is no exception. It's one of the few Android-powered tablets on the market with a 9-inch HD screen and it ships with...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review: The Name Is About As Good As The Tablet

There's no doubt the Android tablet market is heating up much like the phone market was a few years ago. Where before there were relatively few choices,

A budget product will always have some compromises - it's to be expected. With specs that are similar to the Nexus 7 and a fairly low price, though, you would expect the IdeaTab A2109 to be roughly equivalent. It's not. Though well built, it's too...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

Lenovo is a relative newcomer in the world of tablets, but the IdeaTab A2109 does a decent job at getting their foot in the door and off to a good start. We like the sturdy design of the tablet as well as the speed of the device, but it could use some...
