Microsoft Surface Pro Review

Read our full review of Microsoft's Surface Pro and find out why it's the new poster-child for Windows based tablets.

Gorgeous high-end hardware ; Largest application ecosystem of any tablet operating system ; Faster than any ARM-based tablet ; Huge hardware compatibility ecosystem ; More enterprise & business features than any other tablet (Active Directory support,...

5 hour battery life is less than many low-power tablets ; Intel Core i5 CPU generates some heat when under heavy use ; Maximum RAM option is only 4Gb ; Maximum SSD storage option is only 128Gb (with around 89Gb available at first boot.) ; Stylus...

The reason it’s called the Surface Pro is because it’s for Professionals (or people who would like to be professionals someday), but it’s also great for amateurs. The price reflects that, the processor power reflects that, the operating system reflects...

New Surface Pro

You wouldn't know it from the name, but the Surface Pro is actually the fifth convertible tablet-come-laptop from Microsoft. When did companies decide that numbers were no longer cool?

Microsoft Surface Pro tablet

Microsoft's Intel-powered tablet is fantastic, but somewhat flawed. We can live with that

Brilliant design ; Great touchscreen display ; Excellent add-on keyboard connector

Significant, inescapable compromise inherent in form factor ; Mediocre battery life for a notebook, terrible for a tablet ; Frustrating power connector

Microsoft's full-fat Windows 8 tablet is hugely compromised, but that's part of its design. We found its versatility useful, but limiting at the same time.

Microsoft Surface Pro video review - Windows 8 tablet is a compromise, but a good compromise.

The Surface Pro is either a tiny Ultrabook or a bulky Windows 8 tablet, depending on your point of view. Is the Surface Pro the one device to rule them all? Watch our Surface Pro UK video review to find out.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) review: Still worth buying? | IT PRO

Microsoft's hybrid maybe five years old, but it still manages to pack a punch

Blazing performance; Excellent design; High-quality display

No USB-C support

Great power; perfect for working on the move; Touch Cover keyboard is impressive.

Seriously weighty; battery life is disappointing; limited choice of apps.

Hands on: Microsoft Surface Pro June 3rd, 2013 | by Alfred Siew Enterprise 0

The tablet will work as a laptop replacement for many users, except perhaps those who want a larger keyboard and screen for heavy-duty typing.
