Nokia N800 (SD/miniSD/microSD/MMC Card, Opera 8)

Until you use it, Nokia's N800 Internet Tablet seems impressive. Designed to let you surf the Web and access e-mail while on the go, the $400 device has a svelte design and a strong collection of software. Ultimately, however, working with the N800 is...

Display is crisp and clear ; Offers impressive audio quality

Lacks basic PDA and office apps ; Web pages can be difficult to read

Nokia N800 Internet Tablet review:

Nokia N800 Internet Tablet

The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet has integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for accessing the Web on the go and comes with an outstanding browser. It also features a built-in Webcam, a sleeker design, a gorgeous screen, and improved performance....

Unfortunately, the video playback on the N800 was subpar, and there is no PC synchronization. The N800 also relies solely on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.

Though it won't appeal to the masses quite yet, the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is a nice, portable device for on-the-go Web browsing, and it has some worthy upgrades.

Review: Nokia N800 Internet Tablet (Part 2)

Picking up where we left off . . .

Although labeled as an internet tablet, the Nokia N800 really defies categorization. Web browsing on the device is certainly more enjoyable and desktop-like than almost anything else in its class (whatever that is), but that's really just a fraction of...

Review: Nokia N800 Internet Tablet (Part 1)

The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is advertised as a handheld device that lets you "take the internet to new places." Its high-resolution widescreen display and simple wireless connectivity solutions work together to enable quick and constant access to...

With it, you can install an unbelievable amount of applications(through catalogs and other resources) directly onto the device and completely independent of a computer. Why?Because the N800 is basically a full-featured Linux computer!

Nokia N800 Internet Tablet: A New Nokia without a Phone

I've had the Nokia N800 for a month now, enough to write a very extensive review and that's exactly what I'm going to do, just like my previous N93/N93i

Excellent build quality overall (except for battery compartment) ; Excellent browsing experience on ultra high res-screen ; Feature packed ; Supports Flash in browser ; Excellent stand-bye and operation time ; Screen adjusts itself depending on use of...

Wobbly battery compartment ; Screen almost unreadable in bright outside conditions (typical of touch sensitive screen) ; No Java support in browser ; Does not come with standard software for MSN ; Where’s Skype and voice chatting for MSN ; Has OMAP2...

The N800 is not a phone, but an internet centric device with a much improved design when compared to the 770 internet tablet. The overall build quality is excellent, with a few minor gripes like the loose battery compartment and high screen edges. The...

Nokia N800 Internet Tablet Review

My first impression of the N800 was it's too small, who would want to use it to access the Internet? Well, my opinion quickly changed after I used it for a few days

Lightweight sleek design ; Wi-Fi works great and easy to connect ; Web cam for Internet calling ; Touchscreen and stylus input

No calendar, which could be helpful with contacts ; No SDHC support ; Screen washes out in direct sunlight

As it stands though, the N800 has been mistaken for an iPhone by many that I see. The touchscreen is just about right there, and so is the rest of the package. Nokia has a winner on its hands, it just has to convince people that computing is more than...

Nokia N800 Internet Tablet Review

Antoine Wright brings us this review of the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, a device that's about the size of a smartphone or handheld but offers a lot more functionality.

Lightweight sleek design ; Wi-Fi works great and easy to connect ; Web cam for Internet calling ; Touchscreen and stylus input

No calendar, which could be helpful with contacts ; No SDHC support ; Screen washes out in direct sunlight

The N800 is great for catching up on those emails and other business uses, but it has some nice entertainment features like I mentioned before. You can watch videos, listen to music, and have Web chats, thanks to Internet calling and the Web cam.
