The Panasonic UT-MB5 is a giant 4K tablet with a head for business

The Panasonic UT-MB5 is an enormous tablet that displays 4K, but don't grab the popcorn: it's for business, not movies.

Panasonic Toughpad UT-MB5 Tablet Review

Tabloid tablet. The Panasonic Toughpad UT-MB5 features a 4k IPS display panel and is large enough to work with DIN A3 / Tabloid-sized drawings. At a price of about 4500 Euros (~$5800), the tablet is way too expensive to appeal to the average consumer.

4k IPS panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio, Ease of maintenance, Fast mSATA SSD, Electronic touch pen

Only 4 GB of RAM, High power consumption, Noisy, Tablet locks up during the stress test

Panasonic's 20-inch Toughpad UT-MB5 tablet has no issues handling the tasks and duties it was designed for. The sturdy tablet is far from inexpensive, as it is a specialized niche product serving an even smaller segment of the market than workstations...

Panasonic Toughpad UT-MB5

This ruggedised 20-inch 4K tablet is yours for just £4,365

High-quality 20in 4K screen ; Plenty of CPU power ; Discrete Nvidia GPU ; Hard-wearing exterior ; Touch Pen included

Stratospheric price ; Poor battery life ; Heavy and bulky ; Third-party app scaling issues ; High noise and heat output

The Panasonic has loud speakers for a tablet, and they have good balance between bass, treble and high-end, but quality is consistently poor: bass sounds insipid, the mid-range lacks punch, and the high-end is tinny.
