Toshiba Portege Z20t review

The Z20T's matte display and excellent keyboard impress, but its high price is a problem.

The Portege Z20T is a competent 2-in-1 business combo, but it falls behind the rest of the pack. While the matte screen, excellent keyboard, and alternative pointing stick will appeal to business users, the tablet functionality, active stylus, and...

Toshiba Portege Z20t-B2112

The Toshiba Portege Z20t-B2112, a slim, detachable-hybrid ultrabook and tablet, is great for working on the go, but its Intel Core M processor and an older operating system means it doesn't have the productive chops it needs to lead the category.

Thin and light design. Versatile tablet and docking keyboard. Active digitizer and pen. Second, stowable stylus. Second battery in keyboard doubles battery life.

Intel Core M processor can't match performance of Core i5 CPUs. Windows 7 is clunky for touch and tablet use. Mediocre camera.

Conclusion The Toshiba Portege Z20t-B2112 is a good detachable hybrid ultrabook and tablet, with a slim, fanless design, and a docking keyboard that lets you use the system as a laptop, or to take it on the go as a tablet. The decision to include an...

Toshiba overhauls its Portege 2-in-1 with full HD screen

Like the Z10t before it, the Portege Z20t is a tablet-and-keyboard combo, but that's just about where the similarities end.

Toshiba Portege Z20t-B Convertible Review

Expensive runtime wonder. Toshiba charges a steep price of 2000 Euros (~$2138) for the top configuration of its latest business convertible – in return the user gets a business device with comprehensive features and enormous battery runtimes. Thanks to...

Careful build quality, High-quality input devices, Digitizer support, Anti-reflective IPS panel with flawless picture quality, Very good everyday performance, Passive cooling, Impressive battery runtimes

Only 12 months warranty, No upgradeability, No fingerprint reader, Extremely high price

It is always surprising how mobile and powerful modern convertibles have become now – a passively cooled Core-M device is hardly slower than a real desktop PC in many daily situations: But: Besides Toshiba, rivals like Lenovo or Dell manage this as...

Toshiba Portégé Z20t-C-121 Detachable Review

Business device with stamina. Toshiba primarily did a facelift with the Portégé Z20t-C: The C models come with Skylake processors now and bring a Type-C USB port (USB 3.1 Gen 1). Despite a price north of about 2000 Euros (~$2234), the device is not...

matte touchscreen, high-end input devices, digitizer support, fast SSD, excellent battery life

low-contrast display, only 12-months warranty, no upgrade options, no fingerprint reader, high price

With the Portégé Z20t-C, Toshiba delivers a 12.5-inch detachable laptop. The Skylake processor brings enough CPU performance for office and web applications. The computer works silently and hardly gets warm when running everyday tasks. A fast SSD makes...

Toshiba Portege Z20t Ultrabook (PT15BA-00500Y)

A Windows 8.1-based hybrid product that can be used equally well as a tablet or as a notebook

Comfortable as a tablet ; Anti-glare screen ; Good as a notebook ; Comes with an active digitiser pen

Has a top-heavy lean ; Base mount allows the screen to wobble ; Touchpad needs to be better

Toshiba Portege Z20t review

The battery life king

Long battery life ; Smudge-proof chassis ; Vibrant FHD screen

Poor performance ; Awful keyboard ; Awkward keyboard attachment

This two-in-one laptop for work offers incredible battery life and extra oomph through its handy keyboard base, but will cost you dearly.

Toshiba overhauls its Portege 2-in-1 with full HD screen

LAS VEGAS -- Looking at the Portege Z20t two-in-one, shown here at the 2015 International CES, it's almost like Toshiba threw out everything from its predecessor, the Z10t, and started afresh.

Adding to the laptop-like performance, the keyboard dock has full-size RGB and HDMI outputs, Gigabit Ethernet and two USB 3.0 ports. It also has its own battery this time around, which combines with the tablet's 9-hour battery life to deliver up to...
