Was never able to toast evenly each side - required us to toast then rotate and invert the bread to complete the toast every time....... just to get close to a proper toast. Eventually and thankfully one side stopped completely after blowing the fuse...

This toaster does a good job (doesn't burn as easily as our old one) but the holes are so small that even a normal sliced tin loaf sticks out the top. The kettle that came with it has developed a serious leak out the bottom.

The element on top burned out and B&D has stopped making this model. So the oven hanging hood can longer be used. They are replacing the oven and waiving the fee's since I can no longer use the hood. This is the second replacement in less than I year.
