FAVI LCD HDTV DVD Combo

I love my new favi tv, but every dvd I put in you not only hear the movie but you read every word said. How can I take the writing off????

Purchased a favi in October 2008 and absolutely love it. Has an awesome picture equally as good as my sharp 22″. The great thing about the favi though is it comes with a USB port, Card Reader and DVD player. Thinking about buying the favi White 19″...
