Whistles and bells are in predictable short supply, but the Samsung UE43AU7100 absolutely nails the fundamentals of Being a TV in 2021
Balanced, believable native 4K images ; Effective smart TV interface ; Good upscaling (up to a point)
Contrast suffers from lack of both brightness and blackness ; No Dolby Vision HDR ; Tedious sound

Quality doesn't always have to cost the earth
Balanced, consistent picture quality ; Strong smart features ; Excellent value for money
Some mild colour compression ; Sound doesn’t project well ; Limited gaming features
Samsung’s miniature hero proves you don’t need a bottomless bank account or a cavernous room to enjoy great picture quality

The Samsung AU7100 delivers a bold and beautiful 4K images that belie its price, and its smart TV features are the best you can get in budget sets

Small screen, big picture
Accomplished 4K images ; Predictably impressive smart TV interface ; Almost too many control options
No Dolby Vision HDR ; Upscaling has its limits ; Sounds humdrum
An almost ideal compromise between performance and price

Great picture. Something NOT made clear that this TV model won't record or pause LIve channels because it does not support Private Video Recorder (PVR). The e-instruction is generic and does not advise about this specific model. I bought a USB hard...

This is an entry model tv in the samsung range which is fine for what i wanted. I'm sure there are better tvs on the market but for the price i paid i was happy. Very thin design and looks great wall mounted. Netflix and prime work well with 1 touch...
