The Samsung F6400 series of edge-lit HDTVs deliver a sharp picture with dark blacks and vibrant colors. Features are abundant, but the screen doesn't get very bright and the Smart Touch remote can be tricky to master.

Dark black levels. Strong feature set. Solid 2D and 3D image quality.

Tricky remote. Voice recognition is erratic. Low brightness levels.

Samsung UNF6400 series LCD review

 

We deal with all different kinds of TVs here at CNET: expensive shiny ones , ones with absolutely stunning image quality , and sometimes they're one and the same . We even get some real stinkers .

The Samsung UNF6400 offers attractive styling and a full complement of features for the price but is outstripped by rivals for performance.

"SAMSUNG HAS THE WORST RELIABILITY LEDs"

 

DON'T BUY SAMSUNG LEDs. I BOUGHT A 60" LED and it just stopped working after 19 months??? I paid almost 2000 dollars to get a TV for 19 months. Stay away from SAMSUNG LEDs , and save your cash.

I tested 3 smart TVs: Visio, Panasonic and Samsung 6400. V & P is junk. V- didn't see WiFi network, P- break or didn't see video files from USB hard drive or from remote PC through WiFi. Only Samsung works right. No problem with codecs. YouYube streams...
