The Sharp LC-52E77U displayed this dark city scene from Blu Ray documentary Blue Planet with good definition though black levels degrade from side angle viewing

Great Picture

 

I hooked it up to a spare 5.1 amp and it sounds great.

Great Picture, light weight, manual is good, good packing, easy setup

Sound quality is not as good as my previous DLP set, but in such a light weight package, you can't pack alot of speaker (especially woofer) in the unit

Wow

 

I thought the color at the bottom would look terrible but upon unpacking I found that it doesn't stand out at all, it's really a nice little accent. I got this TV for six hunsky less than it was a day after I bought it so I feel smart ;)

Price ; Vivid colors & deep blacks ; Wide viewing angle ; 120HZ (for the sports) ; 5 HDMI inputs

Sharp Aquos Model LC-52E77U

 

I have owned Sharp TVs in the past but nothing in there Aquos line. Once you get this puppy set up you'll be spoiled just like I am. BTW.... I don't even have a High Definition signal yet and the picture is still gorgeous. My other set did not handle...

AQUOS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER DEVICES

 

SHARP TECH SUPPORT TOLD ME THAT THEY KNEW OF THE ISSUE AND THAT IF THEY SENT OUT A TECH AND NOTHING WAS BAD ON THE TV THEY WOULD CHARGE ME FOR THE TECH VISIT. NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A SMILE..........

DO NOT BUY A SHARP LCD IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT WITH AN ATT UVERSE BOX OR A DENON 1910. ACCORDING TO SHARP, THEIR TV IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ALL OTHER EQUIPMENT WHEN USING AN HDMI CABLE. VERY DISSAPPOINTED WITH THE PURHASE, SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE SAMSUNG

Terrific. Worth every penny

 

You cannot possibly go wrong buying this set. If you value you money then this set is for you.

I get my high definition from Dish Network. The High definition channels displayed on this TV are just supperb. I cannot imagine the picture getting any better on HD. Makes you feel that you are a sporting event, Football, Soccer, Hockey,Baseball,...

The operators manual printed on a folding sheet. (lame)

AWSOME ! !

 

Brownish bezel compliments any wood furniture, 120hz, lots of HDMI, side mounted HDMI, Beautiful picture when tuned, mine has 0 dead pixels. Optical audio output, LOTS of fine tuning menu options(a plus for me anyway) ; I use it as a gigantic 52" media...

Remote is illuminated but not fully and buttons are small. need a bigger living room. . .lol
