A Review of the Sony X930C 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D Smart LED TV (2015 Model) – XBR65X930C

The XBR-65X930C from Sony is without a doubt one of the two or three best-non OLED 4K TVs on sale today. Along with its slightly larger cousin the XBR65X940C, it's almost perfectly matched with Samsung's JS9500 SUHD 4K TV model . What this means is...

Absolutely gorgeous Triluminos color ; Almost OLED-like contrast control ; Outstanding 4K upscaling ; Major Android TV connectivity ; Superb full-array LED backlighting ; The best sound on the market

Bulky body design due to speakers ; Android TV could be refined further

Just as we said about the Sony XBR75X9405C, we can’t not recommend this virtually identical cousin of that latter model. The XBR-65X930C offers some of the best specs on the market as far as LED/LCD TVs are concerned and is easily a rival to Samsung’s...

Sony X930C TV

The Sony X930C is an excellent UHD LED TV. It can get very bright and has great motion control. However, it loses picture quality at an angle and its gray uniformity is sub-par. The Sony XBR65X930C is great overall. It has great native contrast, can...

Wider color gamut ; Deep and uniform blacks ; Great motion controls ; Very bright

Limited viewing angle ; Sub-par gray uniformity

Sony X930C Review: Amazing Picture, Awesome Audio

If you are looking for the best picture available, the 65-inch Sony X930C is one of the finest, with the added benefit of excellent audio support. Other contenders are Sony's own larger sets, such as the 75-inch X940C, and OLED models from LG. At this...

Excellent contrast ; Expanded color and HDR support ; Top-flight sound reproduction

Big design with conspicuous speakers ; Tricky remote controls

The Sony Bravia X930C is a state-of-the-art 4K set with HDR support and impressive built-in speakers.

Sony KD-65X9305C

The 65X9305C is Sony's flagship 65-inch 4K UHD TV. It combines Sony's latest X1 video processing system with an Android TV smart interface and a proprietary ‘magnetic fluid' speaker solution.

Spectacular colour performance ; Bright, detailed pictures with 4K and HD alike ; Stunning sound for a TV

Light inconsistencies at the left and right edges ; Clumsy on/off backlight during very dark scenes ; Android system can be overbearing and sluggish

Sony Bravia X93C 4K TV review: Beauty and the beast

Whatever we end up thinking about the Sony 65X9305C 4K telly, you certainly can't complain about how much physical hardware you get for your money. The Sony 65X9305C is an ambitious and, in many ways, supremely talented 4K TV - so much so that it feels...

Gorgeously colourful and detailed pictures, extraordinarily good sound quality, good future-proofing, lots of smart apps on board

Its design is huge, Android TV isn’t customisable enough and can cause the TV to be sluggish, a number of backlight lighting flaws

The Sony 65X9305C is an ambitious and, in many ways, supremely talented 4K TV - so much so that it feels like a genuine glimpse into a brave new world of TV excellence just around the corner.

Sony KD-55X9305C review

  (Rating Hidden)

Up against premium TVs from rivals Samsung and LG, the Sony KD-55X9305C is a 2015 flagship set that includes a range of Sony's recent TV innovations. With side-mounted speakers, this pricey TV has impressive sound quality, but does its picture make it...

Sony KD-55X9300C Android TV Review: The All-Rounder

Great performance with all kinds of video content Excellent sound Android TV UI Google Play Store access

Expensive Remotes could have been better

Sony is known for doing TVs well, and its fully-loaded KD-55X9300C is a great example of the Japanese electronics giant getting every single thing right. Although it isn't necessarily the best at everything it does, the X9300C has no serious flaws....

Excellent TV!

I am extremely impressed with the 940C. Colors are accurate out of the box, blacks are deeper than my Samsung F8500 plasma, and motion is flawless. On top of that, a new FW update came out today (8/22/2015) that supports full 4k and HDR at 4:4:4 60fps....

Extraordinary Quality and Worth it

This is the best TV I have ever seen for home viewing of compressed off air, cable or internet. I ran a Post Production facility for years and was a pioneer of HD post for movies and broadcast. I am used to looking at uncompressed images on...
