It's more powerful than I expected, and makes a better job of a room than I do using the hoover (and I'm quite picky). I've only given it a moderate performance score for reasons given under 'bad points'. Personally, I love it!
It really isn't any good leaving shaggy rugs down, or anything it can get tangled in or stuck under. If you're not able to pretty much clear your room of bits and pieces, it's not going to save you much time. I could only recommend it if clearing a...

The way you can leave it to get on with vacuuming without having to worry.
The handle does not come up as far as my other one so there is not much room for your hand.
