Pretty Good Camera

Takes a while to set up because of the complexity of networking. I recommend you have some experience setting up a home network if you are gonna try this. Have lots of storage on hand!! And remember: just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they are...

Works pretty well for me. Works in the dark (low light really). Works in the day. Just works

Kinda complicated to set up. If you fiddle around with the settings a whole bunch like I did, do a reset to default settings and then set it up again, it should go pretty quick the second time. No ethernet cable included. Power cable is short. Included...

Melted its own face

The ActiveX plugin that the camera uses to display video on Internet Explorer (the only web browser that can give you sound) needs a decent computer to work - a net book with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6 will not work (at least our Eee PC sure...

After a little bit of setup work, was able to stream to internet explorer on a decent PC

The front face plate MELTED because the camera got too hot. I had noticed it was quite hot to touch when I was testing it out, but apparently the corner I had it in didn't have enough air circulation, as the front plastic side melted, and now the video...

Great camera for the money

I like this camera and I especially like how the manufacturer responds to reviews to try to help. I would love to see an outside PTZ camera from ABS with nightvision up to 60 feet. POE would be a great bonus, but not a must have.

Very good quality camera with a lot of features. Megapixel display is crisp. Setup was straight-forward. Functions great.

Configuration is not the easiest if you are not technical. It would certainly be helpful if documentation provided some basic configurations for recording video. Would like if the camera didn't require a reboot when changing to Megapixel display from...

meh

I'm not dissatisfied nor really satisified with the product. so i'm very "meh" about it.

room for improvement

I purchased this product using nextday service however it took much longer to get here so I pretty much wasted the shipping costs. I think because it wasn't in stock or something. When I received the product it was difficult to install and was...

Could be much better

They say that this camera has a Migapixel resolution, but image looks worse than very first cell phone camera yeas ago. I don't complain about bad color, which is a necessary evil with infrared camera. My problem is that the image lacks any detail, it...

Flawless wireless performance ; Low price for a camera with IR night illumination ; Tech support tries their best to help

Poor image quality. Worse than a cheapest webcam. If you want to use this cam for security, you most likely will not be able to recognize an intruder beyond race and gender ; Limited functionality on Firefox- no recording, audio, zoom, image size...

Good Enough

It took a lot of trial and error on the firewall settings of my intranet to get their website to access the camera. Once it was up and running, then all went great. Controlled user access works well. The settings stay when unplugged for extended...

The resolution and picture are pretty good. The framerate is between 7 (color) and 15 (b/w with IR). The color switches to b/w when on IR. On IE, there are several selections including record, and snapshot. The audio feature can be turned off, thankfully

The internet access is not intuitive. There are several steps to get the internet to work. The IR is only via switch, with no automatic sensing. So, if you want to use it as both (for areas that aren't occupied all of the time), then you have to keep...

Sounded good - but...

Printed setup instructions didn't mention needing a password for setup. Had to download the manual for proper setup instructions.

Nice set of features.

Would not stay connected to wireless even though wireless signal strength was good.

Printed setup instructions didn't mention needing a password for setup. Had to download the manual for proper setup instructions. Very disappointing product. I'm sending it back.

Nice set of features

Would not stay connected to wireless even though wireless signal strength was good ; Not in focus at any distance and there is no focus adjustment ; Very very poor resolution, especially at higher resolution settings. (It seems like they are just...

Wireless Never Worked Reliably

Manual written in poor English.

Lots of features...

I was never able to get the camera to connect to my network when the infra-red LEDs were lit.
