Although Foscam's security camera performs well, its convoluted configuration and limited remote features left us cold.
The $220, £135, AU$230 Foscam FI9826P has excellent specs, including 300-degree pan, 120-degree tilt and 3x optical zoom. It offers local SD card and cloud storage services.
It will likely take at least one call to customer service to figure out the FI9826P's setup and even longer to make sense of its outdated Web interface. The Foscam Viewer Android and iOS app can't send push notifications.
The FI9826P's unnecessarily tedious setup process, old-school Web interface and lack of push notifications seriously stunt this otherwise impressive Wi-Fi camera.

Foscam's $220 (available in both the UK for £135 and in Australia for AU$230) Plug and Play Wireless IP Camera FI9826P is full of contradictions. It's a high-quality pan, tilt and zoom camera with night vision, two-way talk, an SD card slot and opt-in...

There is no way to effectively evaluate one Foscam camera to the next. After hours of trying to look at the various features of the different cameras I selected 2 different cameras. The F19826W and the F19821P. But the level of frustration and hours...

On opening the box the instructions looked a little daunting but was actually simple to set up. You can remotely control the camera zooming in and out, and panning left to right and up and down from your phone or computer. You need to download the...

This camera was so easy to set up and being able to view the live images on my iPhone is great. The camera is small and neat with plenty of wire for set up. I would recommend this camera for anyone wanting to protect their property.

We have used Foscam before, they are good cameras and this was an upgrade. Would recommend.

Great product, took a little setup (but I'm a geek and is quite easy for me) Not sure average customer would be able to setup with the little instructions and without a computer. Night vision is amazing and very clear. Other features are great you can...
