Trying to snoop around like Michael Westen, but don't have the tools? Maybe Swann's PenCam can help you out! This over-sized pen can both record video and snap photos while still fitting into a shirt pocket. Although it may not capture high-quality...

The convenience of a camera, matched with an always-useful ballpoint pen. The pen is pretty good too. Novel idea. Footage is decent if pen is held still enough.
Recording light can be visible during filming. Ability to be used as an actual spy camera is debatable. Sound quality is terrible.
Channel your inner Maxwell Smart, Agent 99 or John Steed with this pen that doubles as a camera. But don't expect to be as undercover as the real deal.

PenCam, is exactly what is says – a digital camera inside a pen. So you can write and record at the same time. With 4Gb of space, you'll have enough storage for at least 2.5 hours of recording at 1280 x 1024 resolution.
Can be used to write and record basically at the same time
The legal and privacy implications are a bit hazy to say the least
Oh, and for the record, it writes quite well too.

Have you ever thought you might like to record the conversation you had with a colleague regarding the idea you could have sworn you said you had, but has somehow become a co-workers? Or perhaps would like to know who keeps stealing your Post-It notes....
