Simple and reliable

Although the NC220 is not a high end camera it is very good for the price. I found it very simple to use and setup and it works every time I go to use it. The app for Android takes very little time to setup as well, and you can log in from anywhere so...

The NC220 is reliable, affordable, and simple. This camera was very easy and fast to install. Using WPS I had it up and running in less than 10 minutes on both my Android phone and my PC. The Image quality is good even with the low resolution. The app...

The NC220 is not HD. This is a fixed position camera unless you manually adjust it. The Night vision is pretty close range and you need to have access to a power outlet close by to power it.

Amazing EASY TO USE Camera for the Price!!!

IF you want to get your feet wet with a wireless drop cam, this is it! The price is great, it has Ethernet and wireless, it is SUPER easy to use and most of all, reliable. I have not had one single issue with up time! I also like how TP-Link provides a...

Price. A decent quality SUPER easy to use cloud camera with AUDIO for under fifty bones!? I'll TAKE IT! I had this thing up and running in 2 minutes. I'm not even kidding! I registered an account and then loaded the app on my tablet and BANG! I was up...

Honestly, there are not many. But.... Wireless range isn't that great. You'll want to be pretty close to your access point or wireless router to get a good link. This is VERY important. I think the people that have issues with this camera are ones that...

Good camera, great price, some issues

Hopefully continued work on the firmware will resolve the remaining frequent disconnect issues. If they can ever get stable, dependable wifi performance, this camera would be a tremendous value at its price.

Nicely designed camera, small, easily placed, with a long optional power cord extender. Very clear color imagery and night vision image is also clean and clear. The image quality is very good for the price. Issues with very bad wifi performance and...

While the latest firmware is a drastic improvement over its previous version, when connected by wifi the camera still has several spontaneous disconnects a day, and though it now spends more time online and available rather than offline, the...

Not Ready for Prime Time

If you're an IT or security specialist, you're probably going to want better hardware than this to begin with (though the price is right...). If you're a non-technical user, you could probably find better use of your time then trying to navigate...

Low-priced day/night camera with decent image quality and frame rate. Most everything functions, more or less – sound and motion sensors, email alerts, night vision, cloud viewing. (Having read multiple complaints about its wireless performance, I...

If you're not well versed in camera and network technology, you will probably spend hours getting this to work properly. For that reason alone, I can't recommend this camera to anyone else. Time is money, so despite the low price of entry, you'll end...

Nice day/night motion camera

Overall, it's a nice camera. However, I'd give the users the ability to make changes to the camera settings on TP-Link's website or the app.

Lightweight Comes with a very long extension cable Can be used as a wireless extender Includes WPS push button for easy network setup The camera setup from the Android app was fairly easy to follow using the included quick install guide. You have to...

There is no mention anywhere on how to set up the motion sensor/email notification. It's not located in the Android app settings or in TP-Link's website settings. If you search their website, you will find instructions on how to setup motion sensor at...

Great for the price

Connects well on my TPlink and netgear router, not so great on my Belkin router, and not hardly at all on either of my Linksys routers. This thing came in very handy lately as our dog just had 9 puppies, and pitbull puppies can be quite a handfull. I...

Nice long power cord, comes with everything you need in the box. 640 x 480 video, not great, but good enough for the price. Wifi has descent range on the right router (see cons) Easy setup.

WiFi doesn't seem to like some routers. (Linksys / Cisco) No Microsoft phone app

Average at best

At first this camera appeared to present better imagery than the D-Link competitor I have reviewed and the ability to store video remotely on any device (like my phone) was compelling, but after using it for a few weeks I can't recommend it. The front...

Good video in bright light. The ability to record video and take photos. Good mounting options.

It drops signal after less than a minute even when in the next room. Needs to be re-linked with often to prevent constant interruptions in signal. Stores a thumbnail of the last known video frame and displays that convincingly as a current signal when...

Wireless Cam TL-NCC220

Pretty cool cam for the money. Perfect for security, pet and baby monitoring. It does take some knowledge of network set up for anything more than live view but the instructions are pretty clear. Picture quality fair

First off it arrived in record time, two days. Doubled boxed and in good shape. Set up was easy as far as getting it up and running. The quick start guide worked and I downloaded the app to my phone and it worked right away, just had to register it. It...

Now the down side: To do anymore than watch live view it takes a little networking skill. You have to log into the cam by network IP. You can find the IP by looking at your phone you just set up. Type the IP into your PC URL address and the log in and...

Day and night vision at an affordable price

The basic setup for this webcam is pretty straightforward, I just connected the camera to my PC using the supplied Cat5 cable and followed the instructions in the quick setup guide. I needed to download the full user guide and software from TP-Link's...

Almost everything you need is in the box Connectivity with wi-fi or hard wire

The other reviewers are right, this is a lightweight camera No app for Windows phones

Great Day and night vision

These things are great and really have a good picture and you can connect from work, driving( passenger) but when you are not on your home network you get the scene and then quickly it's failing to send data and this was tested on 4 different phones...

As stated great day and night use with great color in day and detail, very easy setup just like their other cameras of this type

Cloud bring the viewing to a halt, data rates running from 0 to 10kbps when viewing from other homes or on your own wireless plan
