Got for mom so we can skype together and it worked great very clear audio and video!! Came back to get antoher for my dad but cant get anymore

Simple and Inexpensive

Inexpensive basic resolution camera; no hassle installation (WinVistax64 loaded up the drivers w/ no problems); USB cable plenty long enough; very good mic; works sufficiently well in moderate light; all-in-all an excellent choice for casual skyping...

As mentioned by another reviewer, the mounting mechanism works primarily by gravity, meaning the clamp is not spring loaded. Don't touch the cable or deploy a duct-tape modification and you should be ok though

Camera good, software bad.

I really like Logitech. I own several of their products and have been completely happy with all of them. I'm actually even happy with this webcam in and of itself. It works fine for web apps. Where it fails me, is the software. I'm not at all happy...

Fits on top of my 22" LCD, I like the built in mic and the privacy shield. Installation was super simple. It works so far in every app I've tried

The software STINKS. I'm using Win7 x64. So I downloaded the software for it from Logitech's website. I then clicked the update button and it said I had the latest. I noticed several problems with it. It crashes alot (Launcher_main.exe has stopped...

Web Cam Software

would have gotten a 5 if the software didn't irritate me.

the logitech camera itself is solid

the software essentially forces you use windows media player to play back videos from within the application. this is not the first time i've found logitech software to be restrictive like this

Great!

-As soon as I bought it, Newegg put the 2.0mp version on sale for the same price. That sold out immediately, so this is still the best bang-for-buck webcam out there!

Refurb price! Nice picture, Awesome microphone! I don't know how it works, but the mic cancels out all bg noise and only picks up voices, very nice

The mounting clip relies on gravity, not tension. As soon as you touch the cable, the camera moves

Great for Skype!

Our family has enjoyed communicating through Skype with our new Logitech cameras from the US to China with no problems. Oh.... and Newegg is the greatest! Our favorite place to shop online!

One of the reasons i purchased this was $15.00 rebate on a good cam is a great deal. But i find it dissapointing that Logitech has had my valid rebate since june 13th and coming up on 2 months later still days its being processed. That being said great...
