I've dropped this thing a few times over the 3 years I've owned it and it still works like a champ ; Quality of video is rather decent ; Can be used as just a microphone in scenarios that only require that ; Used mainly with skype and works flawlessly

some situations it was able to move around quite easy (its very lightweight) but you can easily clip it on top of monitors

This camera makes a nice picture and does a good job with video as well. I use this to Skype overseas and it has done a great job thus far. It rests very stably on top of my monitor

The software automatically loads during windows start-up and has no option deactivate the auto start

Works on windows xp, win7, and Ubuntu 10.04. (don't know about vista) ; good quality for the price

In the linux version of skype, sometimes skype can't get the camera to work. It's not linux, as other apps work fine with it (like cheese), and the driver is loaded. Just thought it might be camera specific though. Otherwise...no cons

Great picture and video quality for the cash spent (after I receive the rebate, that is). Works well with the sundry instant messengers and phone software available. The cable had a sufficient length. The lens cover works great. It's fun

The software I downloaded from Logitech didn't install properly on the first try, so not all of the features were working properly, at first. No biggie. I had to uninstall and reinstall. I don't know why that worked, but it did ; Also, the mic creates...

Works very well with the standard UVC module in linux. It's detected by flash, skype, and any other video software that I've tried ; Video quality seems good to me

virus and trojan when i plugged in my computer, the webcam completely black and i scan it with my antivirus and found 5 trojans in it, and after deleted them it is good and receive image-no more black screen webcam

It works very well straight out of the box. You can tweak with the settings and get it to do fun things, such as Track My Face. This is very useful if you have animated conversations bouncing all over the place ; Friends on Skype remark that the sound...

The quality of still pictures is under whelming. That's not what it's meant to do

Easy to setup and has a high quality image

Couldn't get it to work with Windows Live Messenger after a few min of tinkering so I just used Skype instead
