You get what you pay for.

 

I was being frugal and was looking for a nice webcam good enough for podcasting, i should of looked harder.

Easy installation, small and compact, ideal for its price range

dont expect to be doing any youtube/podcasts with this camera, not enough Fps to really do streaming video

Doesn't work with Vista beta 2. I hate that I cannot get some simple drivers (an INF file and a SYS file, or similar files) that I can use with "Update driver", one always have to get through InstallShield.

Price is OK. Seems to be USB 1.1. Self-adjustment for contrast seems to work

Fairly narrow field of view and the included headset is a waste of packaging.

Zonet ZVC7100 0.48 MP Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam / Built-in Microphone

 

works well for me...so far. nice design and with picture and video capture

supposedly lags over the internet but most webcams do that anyway. software was kind of weird...while installing it a warning popped up twice saying something about compatability with windows xp even though i had windows xp. i just ignored it both...
