You have to remove the protective cover to use the iphone doc. Also, you must have the remove to seek channels. I wouldn't buy it again. It is too reliant on the remote.

I'm sure it works on some docking stations, but doesn't on my bose to iphone 5, I haven't tried any other docking station with it.

As long as your phone is within a few metres of the speaker, the sound quality is very good, Once your near the 10 metre limit it can suffer from drop outs. The item took for ever to be delivered from FamilyMall, Hong Kong!!!!

It has a good enough sound. It doesn't look anything like the ad. It's not nearly as big as it appears in the picture. I bought this for my teenage daughter and she likes it so I guess that lightened the disappointment of the size and sound.
