Samsung BD-ES6000

BluRay player is great. Especially love how small it is, so you can place it even under TV, or hide it somewhere. My power cable did not work, but Amazon refunded me for the price of it.

Samsung BD-C5900

The Samsung BD-C5900 executes the 3D elements nicely and also did a fine job in tuning other areas of the Blu-ray player to make it more valuable. Combined with the $230 dollar price tag, this is actually a nice Internet device to get with a lower-end...

Although the Panasonic DMP-BD45 is positioned as a basic entry level player, its video and audio performance is not something to be scoffed at. Although it did not break new grounds in performance, it sure did as an eco-friendly player. Furthermore,...

When I bought it, I only cared about the online access (Netflix) and playing DVDs (I don't have Blu-rays). The Roku stick (thanks, Amazon!) made the online access obsolete, which leaves it as a Disc player. And as a DVD player, it's mediocre at best....

Samsung BD-C8900

All in all, the Samsung BD-C8900 is an excellent 3D Blu-ray player with good PVR functionality. While a little on the steep side, it's one of the only ways to record 3D television - which is sure to appear more frequently in the future.

With Wi-Fi, good video performance, and an intuitive interface, Panasonic’s DMP-BD91 certainly offers bang for the buck. However, moderate to advanced users may find omissions like 3D, Dolby decoding, or even a digital display a lot to give up. For...

Samsung BD-D8900

Whether this is a hi-def personal video recorder or a smart Blu-ray deck is irrelevant. Samsung’s BD-D8900M is an AV all-rounder that’s as advanced as it is good value. It lacks the option to record, or archive recordings, to a Blu-ray disc – but it's...

It may sound (read?) like we're slamming the BD-SP309 in this first look, but we really aren't. The Onkyo BD-SP309 may be spartan, but it has everything you need for your 3D viewing pleasure. If all you are going to use your Blu-ray player for is...
