I never write reviews, but I had to in this case. Total Junk! Low receiver rating and a poor excuse for private enterprise... Onkyo sickened me with this product so much that I will never buy from them again...

I've had this unit for about four years now and it worked for the first year with very few problems. I would get that "disc err", but would mess with it a couple times and it would start playing. I wish I had sent it in for repair while it was still...

It's shiny and has buttons.

Does not play DVDs, CDs, the radio or anything else.

Sound is good

DVD player doesn't work 80-90% of the time

Don't know it never played well enough to find out.

Can't read any type of disc. Pretty basic flaw!

All other reviewers had reported a problem or two with this unit, one even claiming it has a system fault, but for the last couple of years it has never given me one problem. I wonder why - I do use the unit heavily almost every day for playing both...

has laser problems....continuously gets disc error message even though the DVD/CD is playable.
