Looks nice, it's black, has a hard drive so you can transfer the recorded content from it to a DVD.

Does not play DivX 7 or later version encoded video properly, if at all. MP3s skip occasionally as well (cheap supermarket DVD players can play MP3 perfectly - this cannot). No inbuilt tuner that I can see, insufficient outputs/inputs. S-video is poor...

Picture quality is very good.

Terrible disk navigation. Once you have started to watch a recorded program, if you stop or pause it longer than 10 minutes you can't go back to where you last watched. You have to watch from the beginning. I have also had problems with it not...

good going with samsnug tv and home theater

complicated with recording want to record with subtitle.it does'nt show optional with recording list(want to record movie you can't select subtitle)

It is fit for puropose, I have also a Samsung Blu-Ray Player, which slightly undermines this product

I think the writting on the remote control is rather small

Not user friendly, cant recorde and watch another programm as you have to switch to standby power to rec.

Easy to install and set up. Quality of recordings are excellent to both HDD and DVD.

Hard to tell whether in anologue or digital, made several mistakes when first used to record. Flexible recording mode doesn't seem to make best use of space available on DVD, despite what it says in handbook! Display on front of machine, eg clock etc....
