If you get it, get the warranty too

If you get this machine, be sure to get the warranty, too. I don't usually recommend buying extended warranties, but make an exception in this case. I had read several GPX reviews that said the machines break down after a few weeks to a few months, but...

Only lasted 3 months

This was $20 when I bought it. It was good while it lasted, which was all of 3 months (as soon as the warranty ran out). I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone, its not worth the money. Better to pay a little more for a longer lasting DVD player.

Junk - I guess we get what we paid for

Purchased this DVD player 6 months ago - used very infrequently. This morning tried to get the RENTED DVD out and the thing wouldn't turn on. Spoke to customer service rep who politely informed me that warranty lasts 90 days so I'm out of luck. ...

It only plays discs in black and white!

This DVD player worked fine for a couple years, it played my region 1 and region 2 DVD's, but now it only plays them in black and white, there is no color!

Barely acceptable

Mine could play Netflix rentals without any problems. However, several months into its lifespan, when I'd turn it on it wouldn't always stay on. But once I got it to stay on it would stay on indefinitely, so I just left it on full-time. But today when...
