It does the job.

If you have decided to use your brain and not purchase CABLE then be warned as this DVD player will auto shut off, and can result in a freaky static and white noise ambiance when you return home from a night out.

Great DVD Player

I bought this after sifting through several dismal reviews about the cheaper Coby DVD players (which cost around $20 to $30) and decided to pay a little more for the reliability and quality of this JVC product. Do your research, folks.

This is a great DVD player. I bought this to replace an older Toshiba SD-3750 that I had just had serviced (the optics needed servicing after nearly six years), and the Toshiba still exhibited the same problematic behavior as before. This DVD player is...
