No fun after 6 months.

It's been given a Poor rating. Not the worst, because it does work for the first three weeks or so. Perhaps if I had bought it from Newegg, I could have returned it when the problems began and got a new one.

Gotta love new egg, six months later and they still honor RMA. I can't say enought good about these guys. Have used them faithfull for 8 years.

Newegg of course shipped it pronto. It was my fault I didn't return it before the warranty ran out. Live and learn.

Bumped it up to a full five egg as I'm extremely happy with this and Newegg corrected the description to the correct record media. No Way to beat Newegg!!!

Don't know about Dapsters complaint as it has worked flawless for me. Got mine from Newegg, noticed Dap didn't. I would buy this again without thinking twice! Actually tempted to get another at this price. Simple to use and at 60 don't need the 8 year...

I don't think newegg did this knowingly. Overall, I have done very well with Newegg. I think Samsung dumped their garbage here.

Simply a bad product

I made a mistake in not reviewing earlier DVD product lines from Samsung and not having waited long enough for the negative reviews to start coming forth.

May or may not continue to record once problems begin to arise.
