5 DVD changer only good if you watch hour upon hour of movies.

The first unit I bought had a faulty remote, only worked from 3 ft. away. I returned it to Circut City for a new one. The new one works fine. Lately though some cd's pause and come in and out with the sound which is a pain. I never use it for more...

Great picture, DTS sound decoder, solid construction.

No CD-R's, audio CD trouble, Remote doesn't light up or glow.

6+ hours of non-stop movie fun!

I purchased my Sony DVP-C660 about 3 months ago. Before then, I have never own a DVD player. I choose Sony mostly because of its brand, plus, I can get them cheaper. The 5 discs changer function is excellent, I can now enjoy a whole day worth of...

From a reputable company, beautiful user interface, excellent remote control buttons layout, well label ports

Huge, turn table function could be better, no burn CD-R, high price

The first time i don't have to...

I used to own a DVP-300 model. It was really good, with very good audio, etc., but every single time i was done watching, i would have to walk that 16 feet over to my DVD player, take the disc out, and put another one in! I hate that! This player...

Quiet, efficient, plays VCD's...

A little long, annoying disc noise, 3 layer interface

Great Sound Combined With Great Clarity Equals Great Experience

I have had my fare share of problems with Sony products. They always give me a problem one way or another, either they break down, or they just for no reason decide not to work. Believe me though, this DVD/CD player is great.

Good Sound, Good clarity, Durable, Great Tech Support Of Sony. DVD/CD in one.

Takes a while to understand all the features.

Product Specifications

The DVP-C660 is a 5-disc DVD/CD changer from Sony. It's a mid-level player that includes a healthy feature set and a host of connectivity options. The step-up DVP-C670D includes a built-in Dolby Digital decoder and the company's proprietary Digital Image Enhancer, neither of which is found in the C660. The DVP-C660's full array of connections makes it a potential mate for almost all types of TVs - from those with component video inputs down to those with only a composite video input. This player features two composite video outputs, two S-video outputs, one set of component video outputs, a coaxial digital audio output, an optical digital audio output and an analog stereo audio output. The DVP-C660 doesn't skimp on the bells and whistles. Among the proprietary Sony technologies found here is SmoothScan, which gives you a smoother, less jerky image during forward and reverse scanning. Sony also includes Custom Parental Control, with which you can prevent your kids from watching any DVD, regardless of its MPAA rating. This feature memorizes your parental control settings for up to 200 DVDs.
