While the ASUS VE228H does not really have any technical advantages to set it apart from all of the other LCD displays on the market, its price at around $160 USD really is not bad. There aren't too many displays you can find for $160 USD or less that...

This monitor is great for a dual-monitor setup. With both VGA and DVI input, most recent video cards will be able to take advantage of it. I purchased 2 monitors together and received them both without any dead pixels, and have had no problems with...

For the price I cannot complain too much- maybe mine is the only unit in 50,000 that has this issue. Slaping the monitor seems to have fixed the issue for now- so very likely a loose internal connection somewhere.

I would say it is a 79 dollar monitor but with the free shipping it came close to the price. When delivered by UPS the bottom of the box was ripped out and had to check it out before giving to customer. This was not NewEGGs fault though.
