Epson P3000 storage viewer

The P-3000 is the latest addition to Epson's award winning multimedia storage viewer range. It features a large 4.0" Epson Photo Fine Ultra LCD viewer and the world's first four-colour filter system for unrivalled image quality and an increased colour...

Epson P-3000 Multimedia Photo Viewer Review

The Epson P-3000 was the model I originally was supposed to review but the Compact Flash eject button was already broken thus Epson sent the P-5000 as the replacement in a plain brown box. Both are the same but the only difference is hard drive...

Photo viewing capabilities such as EXIF, histogram; Reads RAW and JPEG; Can playback video and audio formats; Supports SDHC and CompactFlash; Portable solution; Very nice screen with fine resolution makes checking photos accurate; LCD screen does well...

Could be smaller and thinner; Price is quite expensive; No A/V cable included

I like the Epson P-3000. It provides a nice colorful screen and most of all the usefulness of photo viewing allowing for histogram and EXIF information to be shown. Audio and video playback also is a bonus as you can travel along with your digital...

Epson P-3000 – Review – 29

The P-3000 is the entry-level model in Epson's range of multimedia storage viewers, targeted at the “professional photographer and advanced amateur”. Half backup device, half media player, it does a pretty good job of both but doesn't push the...

Stunning screen quality

Check that your memory card is supported

The P-3000 lacks any advanced backup features and suffers from limited storage. However, the display quality is superb and the model a good choice for reviewing images and making short-term backups. For megapixel-hungry professionals or longer term...

Epson Photo Viewer : Epson Photo Viewer P3000

Not a photo frame that currently seems in vogue but a device solely for the display of images. What has an object not that much larger than a camera have that a decent photo frame does not?

The Epson P-3000 measures 14x5x8.5x3.5cm and weights 420grams. The display window is 8.3x6.1cm giving the notional 4inch display. It runs on a solid rechargeable battery. The top has earbud socket, SD and Compact Flash card slots. The right side has...

Epson P-3000 photo viewer and media player

Epson is probably not the first name that springs to mind when deciding which PMP to buy, and its P-3000 - a numerically and technically updated version of the company's well-received P-2000 - provides a slightly askew interpretation of what's...

There's no escaping the fact that Epson's P-3000 is very different to its PMP rivals. It's unquestionably bigger and bulkier than we'd like - and judging from other feature-packed PMPs on the market we can't believe Epson couldn't slim things down -...

Epson P-3000

If price is not a major concern of yours and the P-3000's form, factor and features are exactly what you need, it's a very attractive product and we were very sorry to see it go back to Epson. But when you consider that the P-3000's price is close to...

Review: Epson P-3000 Multimedia storage viewer

The P-3000 is your photo storage unit with a difference. The P-3000 allows for storage, management and sharing of your photos and movies, in a compact and mobile solution. The P-3000 supports JPEG format, MP3, AAC and WMA formats for music and DiVX,...

World's first portable viewer to support Adobe RGB1 colour standard ; Sleek and durable, high quality casing ; Approximately 3 hrs worth of battery life

The bundled carry-case was pretty flimsy ; No A/V cord bundled for viewing on larger screens

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Excellent product

Note that i used it only for storing and viewing pictures. I have not really used its video/music capabilities.

For the price ($xxx after rebates), it is an excellent media-viewer/media-storage ; The screen is bright and accessing your pictures is a breeze. Support for NEF (D200) was good

The battery life could be a little better

On-the-go and on-the-spot. Great in viewing and zooming in RAW files. Extremely compact and portable vs netbooks. Great LCD.
