I don't know if this scanner is good or not. I bought a Mac Mini for it - no driver. Then bought a Dell with Vista - no driver! Very disPpointing.

The metal on top came off repeatedly. shreaded documents. Motor problems. Maybe 120 pages a day.

Good (not great) color scans

Call tech support (not cannons) and had to have them come out every month to do maintanance

Canon DR-3080CII Sheetfed Scanner

 

The scanner is designed for digitalizing document. It is quiet, fast and reliable(never paper jam). Color scanning is up to 200dpi only and it lacks color enhancement features. So if you are trying to scan a lot of pictures, this is NOT for you.
