Philips' Blu-ray player is a good value deck that excels with HD movies
Connects to broadband instantly ; High detail ; Excellent onscreen menus
Some judder ; BD Live needs USB stick ; No playback from USB port
Similarly priced machines just outgun it on features, but this good value deck triumphs on pure high-definition detail

Despite excellent build quality, cool minimalist styling and a simple approach to onscreen menus and fast disc playback, it’s this deck’s excellent value pictures that should give it a wide appeal, despite the slightly cumbersome BD-Live arrangement.

Philip\'s latest Blu-ray player, the BDP3000, is reasonably priced and looks good. With all the HD bases covered it\'s a great entry-level device.

All in all for the price it is an exceptional blu-ray device, But hey its a Sony so you wont be let down.
Has Vudu Netflix, Hudu and qriocity entertainment services, plus a slew of other cool extra net based entertainment
