LG V10 review: Time-saver edition

LG issues a serious challenge to other makers on the camera and audio battlefields with the V10. The phone is also LG's first to feature a fingerprint reader since 2009's GW820 eXpo (not counting the Google-designed Nexus 5X).

A great design with excellent build quality ; The camera offers superior photo and 4K video quality ; The second screen is great for multitasking and quick functions from a locked screen, though it feels underutilized elsewhere and its takes its toll...

The LG V10 has a lot going for it - it's a flagship, a phablet, a camera phone, a rugged phone, a Hi-Fi phone and the first of the new V-series. It's a feature-packed device and its signature feature is the secondary always-on display and a dual selfie...

Life with the LG V10 and its oddball second screen

The V10 is much better than a gimmick, but think carefully before you get one.

LG V10 (AT&T)

The rugged LG V10 sets itself apart from other phablets with a removable battery, a unique second screen, and an excellent camera. If only AT&T didn't bog it down with bloatware.

Fantastic cameras. Removable battery and expandable memory. Second screen has potential. Rugged build.

Mediocre battery life. Dated processor. Heavy bloatware and UI layer.

Software and Conclusions LG does a great job with the V10's camera software, but makes a bit of a mess elsewhere. The phone is running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, with LG's UX 4.0 layer on top. The skin makes a lot of unnecessary changes to Android,...

LG V10 review

If you were to ask me how many cameras and displays a phone needs, I'd say one good one of each. If you ask the same of LG, however, the answer would be five. The new LG V10 Android smartphone has...

As good as mobile cameras get ; Solid, rigid construction ; Smooth performance ; Swappable battery and microSD expansion

Camera app excepted, LG’s software stinks ; Second screen is an irredeemable gimmick ; Battery life isn’t impressive for such a large device

The dual-display LG V10 offers ultimate camera and video control (review)

Elevate your home movies with the high-end LG V10, which features two displays, two front-facing cameras, and tons of video features.

The sturdily designed LG V10 gives users more camera control with manual modes for both photos and video, a fingerprint sensor, two front-facing cameras for wider selfie shots, expandable memory and a removable battery.

The handset is pricey, its secondary display doesn't offer any essential necessities and its manual camera features require some time to learn.

The feature-packed V10 is LG's best smartphone yet -- just be prepared to pay a premium for its selfie- and photo-friendly extras.

LG V10 (space black)

By launching this new family of devices, LG gives itself space to experiment with its handsets. Unlike its marquee phone, the G4 , the V10 isn't meant for a wide audience. Rather, it's a premium device with features that appeal to a niche group of...

Over the past several years, Samsung and LG have waged a silent battle against one another. This was a battle of the big phones. The Samsung Galaxy Note reigned supreme for several generations, checking all the boxes for a power user. These must-haves...

LG V10 Smartphone Review

Technical twin. The configuration of LG's V10 reminds us strongly of the G4. The South Korean company has equipped the handset with a second screen and an additional front-facing lens. Discover whether the surcharge is justified in this report.

fast SoC, robust and premium design, decent connectivity configuration, expandable storage, removable battery, good camera, Quick Charge, 32 bit HiFi D-A converter, fast fingerprint scanner, frugal secondary screen

with limited functionality, tightly sized power supply, SOC throttling, UI slows down the system, no wireless charging

With the LG V10, the Korean manufacturer provides another superb smartphone that is very similar to LG's G4 on the specification sheet, but does not have much in common with its sister model in terms of looks. Selfie fans will certainly like the...
