Review: Nokia N81

So I got this box in the mail that said N-GAGE on it. But the cell phone inside didn't look like a taco. I was...

3G and Wi-Fi, which should be standard on every phone, thank you very much. Gaming controls work as advertised, with nary a mis-pressed button in several straphanger gaming sessions. 8 gigs is, like, plenty of memory. Sleek design and excellent build...

Paparazzi-fast camera seems like it’s trying especially hard not to focus. Fancy piano-black screen is the opposite of antireflective. Topside button is built around the speaker, and squeaks if you move the phone around during a conversation (=...

Nokia N81 8GB Review

After the launch of Nokia N81 8GB, our whole team was really thrilled by the idea of building-in an internal memory of such a great capacity and we were looking forward getting one of those devices, so that we could take a closer look and find out how...

Despite the lack of modern high-end hardware specifications, the Nokia N81 still manages to perform quite well and is particularly good as a multimedia smartphone. With the 8 GB of internal memory, there is probably a lot more space than you need to...

Nokia N81 Mobile Phone Review and Prices

Loaded with multimedia options, the Nokia N81 offers gamers and techies a lot of versatility in a slider phone. The first thing one notices about the N81 is its stylish yet somewhat boxy design. The phone isn't as compact as many devices on the market,...

Nokia N81 8GB Review

The new member of Nokia's Nseries, Nokia N81 8GB, is obviously a multimedia-oriented device. We all have great expectations from Nokia high-end line-up, and the Nseries has always offered a wide range of devices that can fulfill even the most...

One of the best multimedia terminals, Nokia N81 8GB embeds the fastest and most stable operating system. There are two main targets that this phone will fully satisfy: Symbian freaks and music lovers. Internet fans will also love this handset, as it...

The phone is too heavy and bulky to fit in a small pocket, which will certainly make its desirability lower. A better camera and a much easier to use keypad would've made a difference

The in-call speaker has been placed on a curious, yet unique 4-side plate. The plate can be pressed, as it features two buttons that can be used as controls in various mobile games. The buttons are invisible when not used, but will immediately become...

Nokia N81 firmware out :brings FP2 style transitions

The Nokia N81 finally received a firmware update today, to version 20.0.056. I have a friend who got one. So i figured she'd find this info useful. As is the norm these days, the update brings Flash Lite 3 support Related posts:

As is the norm these days, the update brings Flash Lite 3 support and Demand paging. But what is new however is that the N81 has been given some of the slick menu transitions/animations from Feature Pack 2 (seen on the n78) !

Nokia N81 8GB

I've been using the Nokia N81 for a couple of weeks now and I must say I wasn't that quite excited about it as many would have. Despite the squarish and heavy built, this model is a beauty. Let me share some of the noticeable features of this unit.
