OnePlus 5 Review

The OnePlus 5 gets so much right, it'll change the way we think about flagship smartphones

DNP OnePlus 5 review: A glorious value

Building a great phone is hard enough, so building a great phone on a budget should be infinitely more difficult. With its fifth flagship, OnePlus makes it look easy. The OnePlus blazingly fast, with a surprisingly good dual camera and solid battery...

Excellent performance ; Good battery life ; Dual camera works very well ; The price!

Design is starting to feel generic ; Still no expandable memory ; Dash charging is a closed standard

Is it perfect? No. But building a phone like this is always an exercise in compromise, and the balance that OnePlus struck among form, functionality and price is incredible. Whether this means OnePlus becomes a household name remains to be seen. For...

Only OnePlus can charge more for a phone, and still be an insane value

With cameras that hold up against those on the iPhone and Pixel, the affordable OnePlus 5 impresses us again.

The OnePlus 5 is affordable and super fast, with an 18-hour battery. Its camera takes great portraits and low-light shots.

It costs more than any previous model, its design isn't anything special and it doesn’t have expandable storage.

The OnePlus 5 is outstanding, especially for the price; no other phone gives you the same bang for the buck.

OnePlus 5: Everything you need to know about the mid-range flagship

OnePlus has unveiled its new handset, the OnePlus 5, and it packs a Snapdragon 835 chip, a dual camera, and a slightly higher price tag.

There were a few that OnePlus 5 users who dialed 911 in the U.S. or 999 in the UK, and had their phones reboot rather than place a call to emergency services. It doesn’t seem to have been a widespread problem, and OnePlus acted quickly to pinpoint the...

OnePlus 5 review: This mid-range Android phone is speedy inside, but stale outside

Uninspired design notwithstanding, the OnePlus 5 delivers great performance in an affordable Android phone.

Cheaper than other Snapdragon 835 phones. ; Battery is impressive and Dash Charge fills up quickly.

Derivative design and FHD screen leave much to be desired. ; No water resistance, no wireless charging, no earbuds. ; Dual-camera system doesn't perform as well as others'.

OnePlus 5

The OnePlus 5 is an attractive unlocked phone with fast performance, solid camera capabilities, and excellent battery life, but it's not as strong a value as previous models.

Speedy performance. Solid dual-sensor camera with wide and telephoto lenses. Excellent battery life. Highly customizable software. Dual-SIM support.

Modest 1080p screen. No waterproofing or expandable storage. Doesn't support gigabit LTE.

At $539 for the 128GB model and $479 for the 64GB model, the OnePlus 5 is the company's most costly phone yet. But then, in many aspects, you're getting many of the same features you find in phones that cost $200 to $300 more. The OnePlus 5 has the...

Review: OnePlus 5

The OnePlus 5 comes with class-leading specs, for half the price of an iPhone 7.

Class-leading specs will please power users. OnePlus finally made a great-looking phone.

Photos are unimpressive, even with souped-up camera hardware. Nothing else about the phone stands out from the competition.

OnePlus 5 Smartphone Review

Computation artist. The OnePlus 5 is a fast smartphone that is available for a good price - although it is not as cheap as it used to be and competition has increased. Can the smartphone with dual camera, AMOLED screen and a slim case still hold its...

fancy, slim and very stable case ; dual SIM capable ; supports many LTE frequencies ; good voice quality ; nicely enhanced Android ; no bloatware ; very fast charging time ; exact GPS ; OLED screen with accurate colors ; fast Wi-Fi ; good performance ;...

main camera quality not on high-end level ; heats up under prolonged loads ; throttling during heavy load ; jelly effect when scrolling ; interchanged microphone channels for videos ; USB 2.0 only ; no microSD slot ; case is not water or dust resistant

There are lots of interesting questions to answer after our review of the OnePlus 5. So let us begin: The OnePlus 5 is a comparatively cheap smartphone with flagship qualities that did slip up a little regarding image quality of the camera but is very...
