The BenQ GH700 is a bridge super-zoom compact camera with a 21x zoom lens and a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-type Sony BSI CMOS sensor. The GH700 has a 25-525mm equivalent zoom lens featuring aspherical and low-dispersion lens elements and nano-scale...
Paying just over £200 for a bridge camera with a decent zoom range stretching from 25mm to 525mm in 35mm film terms may seem like a fair deal on the face of it, and sure enough build quality is pretty good - it doesn’t feel overly plastic-y like many...

BenQ's budget 21x superzoom delivers great value in some areas but falls short in others
Cheaper than the competition, Image quality isn't bad at lower ISO settings, Full HD movie recording
Soft images at telephoto settings, Limited user control, Large handgrip not all that comfortable

Video limited to maximum of 0.5 hour clips which was not mentioned on specs. (Due to a European tax levied on cameras taking over 0.5 hours of video!) If you want like me to record for longer then this is not the camera for you. Poor auto focusing on...
