Kyocera Finecam SL300R
Open-ended high-speed burst mode with 3- to 4-frame-per-second capture; very little shutter lag; simple automatic operation; sleek, ultracompact design.
Small, hard-to-use controls; no shutter-priority mode; no optical viewfinder.
This svelte snapshot camera's high-speed capture ability sets a new performance standard, making it an excellent pick for the casual sports and action photographer.

There's no holding back the Kyocera Finecam SL300R, which lets you continuously shoot 3-megapixel photos until the card is full.
Still, there's no denying that the image processor in the SL300R advances the state of the art. If you've shied away from buying a digital camera because it simply didn't shoot like a film model, your wait is over.

That's nice and all, but how do the photos look? Is the camera easy-to-use? Find out now in our review
Amazing continuous shooting mode ; Swivel-lens design ; LCD is usable in bright outdoor light ; Some manual controls ; Above average movie mode
Colors seem dull ; Poor low light focusing; no AF-assist lamp ; No optical viewfinder ; No tripod mount ; Shutter speed, aperture, manual focus, zoom controls too limited ; No video out port ; Below average battery life ; Redeye ; No lens cover ; No...
If you want a compact camera for outdoor action shots, the SL300R is worth a look. If you shoot indoors in dim lighting, or require a tripod mount or optical viewfinder, you'll want to look elsewhere.
