The Sony a7S III is a 12MP full-frame camera primarily designed with video in mind. We take a look beyond the specs to see what it offers to filmmakers.

The Sony A7S III is a mirrorless, full-frame camera that offers powerful low-light performance for both photo and video.
Superb low-light performance ; Excellent battery life ; Touchscreen interface

Priced at Rs 3,34,990 for the body only, Sony A7S III features a new image processing engine, a touchscreen display, and brings few other changes to button placement.

Sony a7s III is more of a camcorder than a still camera, and therefore not suitable for all photographers.
Extreme quality 4K video, free of rolling shutter and very low image noise at high ISO. Fast and precise autofocus on both stills and video. Fantastic looking.
Only 4K video. 1.1x cropping in the highest quality, only 12 Mp stills, and Sony's cameras continue to have some ergonomic challenges. High price.

Designed especially for filmmakers, the new Sony A7S III is fantastic for filming but a capable stills machine too
Amazing real world video specs ; Incredible low light performance ; Stunning AF, even for video
No 6K or 8K video ; Still images only 12MP ; No waveform monitoring
It’s taken Sony five years to upgrade the video-centric A7S II to a Mark III, but the wait has been worth it for keen enthusiast and professional moviemakers. It might not boast 6K or 8K video resolution of some of its rivals, and with only 12.1MP it’s...
