Plays video, audio and FM radio, high quality audio, easy installation

Average screen quality, lack of menu and navigation buttons

Sony are on to a good thing with the Dream Station, however, it definitely needs further development as there are display and design problems that hinder both performance and product enjoyment.

Sony MV700HR in-car DVD player

The MV700HR is a good option for anyone wanting a permanently installed in-car DVD player.

Good display screen ; Display can be used for multiple purposes ; Good positional audio ; Supports many disc formats ; Memory Stick support

No battery included ; High cost for an in-car DVD ; Messy cable tangle ; Best suited for absolutely permanent installation

The MV700HR's display is crisp and clear, and presented well in both dark and very bright conditions. Likewise, the audio output is quite clear, and well positioned. In our test vehicle, we were able to entertain two small children in the back seat...
