2 Drives in 18 Months

 

Looks nice, quiet

I have the 750GB version of this drive, and I know that means that the enclosure looks the same and what's inside could be totally different, but my first one crashed in less than 6 months of purchase, and now the replacement LaCie sent me has failed...

I also like the remote control and having the ability to put the Lacie unit in standby. One final thought, I purchased the ONKYO TX-SR608, I have the Lacie as a "PC" HDMI input and the HDMI output of the ONKYO goes directly to our HD TV

Great, easy player. Had no issues during setup. The whole process took me approx. 15 min. Once Lacinema is set up, using it is a piece of cake. One of my favourite features is streaming files from other computers on the network directly to the HD TV....
