iZ3D Gaming Monitor - Reviewed

Did somebody mention 3D gaming monitor?

Nice quality

I'm very glad I got this instead of a 1080 high contrast 2D screen.

For the price everything about the screen is a Pro. I was going to buy a second screen for graphical designing. Found this and was like why not. Depending how how rich 3D you want there will be ghosting. I would say this is more for RPG 3D then FPS....

No video controls built in. Nvidia control panel made up for that. The dual hook up is a drag. I just leave other monitor cords at the back of my computer. Don't bother screwing them down. The software might defeat a very untech savvy person

Inexpensive 3d solution

Not sure why all the reviews for terrible support from iz3d; everything needed is on their website. Sure, this type of 3d is being fazed out, but new software is available for it, and iz3d seems to be working on better drivers. All in all a decent...

Cheap, Some games are quite impressive when the settings are right, everything needed was included in the box or available online. Monitor is slightly bigger than my old 22" widescreen

Old technology, and it shows. The more 3d effect you want, the worse the ghosting is. Movies are terrible with the iz3d media player, but what do I expect from a free download.(You can adjust separation in the player, but not convergence) The drivers...

Cheapest 3D I know of

Rather heavy for a monitor, wasn't expecting that. There's some ghosting issues but it's entirely dependent on your settings and the application your using it with. Otherwise it's a decent 3D monitor.

Cheap ; Passive polarized 3D; Means no heavy powered glasses and no annoying shutter effect ; Multiple sets of glasses included to fit your personal preference

Unusually bright ; Low contrast ratio ; Severely lacking product support ; Some compatibility issues

Great Bang For Your Buck

First of all I wanted to say that a fellow co-worker of mine has 3 22" ASUS 3D monitors powered by 2 EVGA NVidia GTX 570 graphics cards. I have compared my monitor side by side two his setup and the 3D capability on this monitor is as good or better. I...

22" Screen ; 150 Price ; 3D Gaming ; Excellent Documentation ; No Headaches or Eye Strain

Entry level 3D feature

Of course people buy this one for 3D games or movies. But you'd better take another common monitor for daily use, since this iZ3D H220Z1 isn't good for that at all. In addition this dual panel 3D monitor take two output interface, good luck that your...

It is a true 3D monitor with low price

No adjustments except brightness er... where's contrast, color temperature, sharpness and so on

The product is discontinued and no longer supported.

Terrifying ghosting, Horrid customer service

Part of the Family

The only substantial annoyance is that the monitor requires 2 separate inputs, which isn't the case with other 3d capable monitors. It's a result of basically boxing two separate screens in one enclosure - they don't have anything onboard that would...

It works, it's bright, passive 3d is great - I wish more people had picked up on this instead of headache inducing interleaving. Privacy screen (?!) when you want it on the polarized front monitor ; Seriously - good resolution and price for it's size....

That they stopped making these? It's a great monitor for a fantastic price with a 3d bonus ; extreme shifts in distance in a game can be problematic - though this issue will basically be constant. The drivers essentially work the same as your eyes do,...

Takes tweaking but totally worth it

the best solution for me until 3D hardware/software formats have settled. During the first month of owning this monitor I had buyer's remorse due to the cons (especially the ghosting), after a lot of tinkering with different games, settings, and...

Amazing 3D effects for gaming (Resident Evil 5 out of this world, Dead Space is twice as scary, Crisis 2 (beta) works great, Grid, Dirt 2, Prince of Persia - all are outstanding), pictures and movies, inexpensive and light polarized glasses (can buy...

ghosting, not HDCP compliant, requires two HDMI outputs from video cards, not compatible with SLI/crossfire, stereo effect causes 50% FPS hit, requires customization for each game for desireable stereo effect
