I bought this printer on sale at a great price, it produces decent color prints at a really fast speed. Inks is moderately priced. I haven't had the printer long enough to rate its longevity.

Fast and reasonably quiet

If you do not use genuine HP ink and you have a print head problem HP will not guarantee your warranty. They can see what ink is used on their printout. HP ink is around £300 a set for less than 10,000 pages. I print 10,000 double sided pages so would...

Turned it on... Didn't work... Apparently there is a common hardware malfunction with it.. HP refused to do anything about it and referred me to the seller who referred me back to HP!!!!

fast and good anti smudge ink, we use coated paper for products and it give a good result

Colour banding on colour flood coat between the separate print heads across page. These are more evident with some colours then others and if running a lot the ink tends to be in short supply to head. Greys and greens run out.
