Best stereo amp £1500+, Awards 2013. It's had a re-design, but Roksan's Caspian M2 is still a formidable amplifier, and we like this latest version
A dynamic sound packed with detail, finesse and rich tonality ; Excellent build and finish ; Nice remote handset
New look isn’t to everyone’s tastes
Best stereo amp £1500+, Awards 2013. The Caspian M2 is an exceptional amplifier for the money. It’s a big-hearted performer capable of drama and subtlety

We test the all-new Roksan Caspian M2 CD and amp combo and find ourselves gripped
Well-designed ; Fine remote control ; Good basic sound quality
Awkward positioning of drawer and display

With its tuneful performance and natural detail, the Caspian M2 is lined up to be the perfect hi-fi partner
Excellent bass, solid, extended, rhythmic and tuneful; very good detail and imaging
Midrange can sometimes be subservient to the bass
Produces sound of almost tangible naturalness

An amplifier that delivers outstanding detail and precision. If you are in the market for an amp at this price range you would be well advised to give it a try. Equipment : Cambridge 851n in pre-amp mode and Focal 926 speakers.

I bought this just over a week ago as an upgrade from my Rega Saturn and it certainly is that. Bass is just as strong but deeper and more tuneful. Everything else is crisper, better defined, powerful and more detailed and basically just sound right....

I was toying with the idea of adding to my Roksan K2 with a power amp or changing to the K3 for a bit more power into the B&W 683s which sounded great but wanted a bit more power. I spoke to Alex in the Nottingham branch who advised against a power amp...

This was purchased to replace my 13 year old Primare CD31 which had sadly become unreliable. The sound quality from the Roksan is everything it should be at this price and, as that is the most important aspect of a CD player, it makes acceptance of all...

I've had the Roksan Caspian M2 Amp for a fortnight now and first impressions are 100% positive!! The build quality is superb but this is surpassed by the sound quality delivered through the Monitor Audio Speaker System, Magnificent!!
