This is an excellent piece of furniture. It was very easy to put together and looks very stylish. I would recommend this.

This is a very nice FTA receiver, easy to set up and very simple to use. Of course, it only gets the two "free" channels if you are trying to use it for bootlegging DISH network, but if you use it the way it was intended - true Free-To-Air television...

When our TV was purchased in 2004 most TV's did not have built in tuners, the tuner had to be purchased separately. I bought this tuner as a replacement for the 1st one I bought. It does have a long pause to change channels. We did program the tuner to...
I never received my money from this vendor. I now have a claim to get my money back.

The idea is fine: a scart dongle plugs into the back of the TV. All that you see of the whole setup is the little device that receives the signal from the unit's remote control. Units similar to this have been around for some time. Problems begin with...
The Volar is handy for a notebook, and it's inexpensive. Its tuner found all the digital channels and displayed them with good signal strength, but it was let down by its software. It needs more convenient time-shifting capabilities and the ability to...

Straightforward to use.
Good value, cheap set up box.
Fee for 1 year of service sirus is $175.00 for basic subscription only ($15.00 activation on top).
The TU-DST52 is just over 11 inches wide and 7 inches deep, and costs $340. No receiver is smaller, and, as far as I know, none is cheaper. Compare this to Panasonic's first receiver, the TU-DST50, which went on sale in fall 1998. It was 17 inches...

Removing the pink plastic part on the antenna connector is not a snap. Following the instructions on the insert did absolutely nothing for me. I had to break the plastic off to get it removed. Works fine once you get that piece of plastic off.
value for money
Purchased one and couldn't get the Caller ID feature to work. Called Hughes support at 1-800-454-2013 and was told that it was a know problem but they had a corporate policy directing them to not issue RMA's for this problem. Otherwise, the RF remote...
Easy to use and good picture quality but let down by an average spec for the price

Are you guys joking? If you're having TOC errors you're not burning the right dics or you have a faulty player, I've owned this stereo for about a year now and have had no problems with its functionality and performance, as for the joystick it's very...
YMMV, but I recommend seeking a better solution for rural usage. The antenna was markedly inferior to a severely tattered outdoor directional antenna. May not have been much of an improvement over traditional low-end rabbit ears - but was not compared...
