We have 2 of these and get the same problems on both and shared opinion by fellow employees.
Fits on desk nicely since scanner is small and also very user friendly
I use this everyday at work and hate it. It constantly jams or scans multiple sheets together (piggey back). Also the driver software frequently gets an "abnormal error" causing scan job to freeze up

I cannot say enough good things about this scanner. The speed at which it scans doents is phenominal and the image quality is just amazing. I thought I was shipped the wrong item when the box came because it was so small. It''s far superior to the HP...

I waited for a long time to purchase this scanner due to the price (the other scanners I had been using were in the $200 - $500 range); I should have purchased this one much sooner!
This is, simply, the best scanner
It does not have a platen (the flat piece of glass) -- if you want that, see the Fujitsu 6240. I didn't purchase the 6240 because I didn't want it taking up the extra space on my credenza. Since I have other scanners in my office (which have a platen),...

Fast Scanner, very small foot print, easy to setup and use. Does duplex scanning
Not as fast as some other scanners
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Have not had any issues what so ever. Works just like the other FI- model scanners we own. And Once you use this one, scanning on old scanner is just plain a chore!
Is it fast? The lower-end models (FI-5110C) are like Model T's next to this Mustang! Works great with our Electronic Medical Records and Adobe Capture 3 and ImpactMD. ISIS drivers are a must for our clinic, and these have them. Have not had a paper jam...
Pretty much the same as any other FI- series scanner. Sooner or later the rubber pads and roller is going to fail, though these are a lot beefier than the cheaper scanner's, so maybe not for a while

A perfect solution for a paperless office. Fujitsu reliability at a competitive price. Much faster (60ppm) than the Fujitsu ScanSnap we''ve been using
small (50pgs) doent feeder

Just finished today a 50,000 plus page document. I have used Fujitsu products before but this was a dream.Very few errors mostly the user was at fault. Very easy to fix any documents on Adobe just a pleasure to work with.
