Ultrahuman Ring Air Review

The Ultrahuman Ring Air can track a variety of unique wellness criteria like caffeination and circadian rhythms in addition to core stats like sleep and stress, though it doesn't quite unseat the Oura for best smart ring.

Review: Ultrahuman Ring Air

This unobtrusive smart ring tracks your sleep and activity to nudge you toward healthier habits—no subscription needed.

Understated design. Lightweight and comfortable. Excellent sleep tracking. Useful health tips. Decent battery life (about four days).

Workout recording is poor. Slow to charge. Black finish scuffs easily.

No Samsung, no subscription fees: Is the Ultrahuman Ring Air a good Galaxy Ring alternative?

The smart ring landscape is fililng up. Find out more about one subscription free Oura alternative in this Ultrahuman Ring Air review.

Lightweight build, comfortable fit ; PowerPlug platform has potential ; AFib detection (though limited regionally) ; Dedicated focus towards improving fitness tracking

Tracked metrics not yet accurate ; App experience not easily digestible ; Doesn't live up to battery claim ; Fine print fees for some PowerPlugs

The Ultrahuman Ring Air is a welcome entry in the smart ring race. It’s also the first smart ring available for purchase from the Verizon online store, a partnership that helps the Ultrahuman brand expand into US markets.

Ultrahuman Ring Air review: Forgettable, in a good way

Here's how the new Ultrahuman Ring Air smart ring compares to competitors like the Oura Ring. The Ultrahuman Ring Air is an excellent sleep-tracking companion and among the best smart rings out there, despite some flaws.

Ultrahuman Ring Air review: who needs a display, anyway?

Ultrahuman's Ring Air is currently the lightest smart ring on the market, tracks tons of health data and offers plenty of insights

Offers a convenient way to track your health ; Lightweight and comfortable to wear ; Tons of recommendations and trends via the Ultrahuman app ; One-off cost (no subscription fee) ; Fitness and mindfulness workouts available in the app

Outer paint can get damaged easily ; Fitness tracking is so-so

If you're more interested in keeping a keen eye on your sleep trend and gradual health improvements, you should check out the Ultrahuman Ring Air. Sure, there is an initial cost to buy the ring, but thanks to the lack of subscription fees, you'll be...
