Review HP Slate 10 HD 3500eg Tablet

Single character. Our bright red test sample of the 10-inch tablet HP Slate 10 HD 3500eg is a special edition that will not be available in Europe. Since it is identical with the normal silver-colored version in every other respect, we put it through...

Bright display; High viewing-angle stability; Problem-free use outdoors; Good application and gaming performance; Long battery runtimes; Memory extendable

12 month warranty; Low power reserves; No mobile radio support

That HP slimmed down the hardware equipment of the Slate 10 HD. It neither supports GSM nor UMTS or even LTE. In addition to that it barely has any power reserves to counter the demands of future generations of tablet apps and games.

HP Slate 10 HD

As the name suggests, the HP Slate 10 HD offers a 10-inch 1280x800 pixel display. The combination of poor resolution and large screen leads to noticeable text and image pixelization as experts soon found out. Although the resolution of the tablet...

Decent battery life, Good contrast ratio, Good viewing angles

Poor processor performance leads to stuttering and lagging, Poor display resolution, Case can be bent and twisted

HP Slate 10 HD

HP Slate 10 HD an 10-inch tablet with 1280 x 800 pixels screen. It comes with Marvell's PXA986 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 16GB of internal storage, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot.

Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast, 32GB microSD card included, Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape

Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen, No 4G LTE power toggle option, Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

HP Slate 10 HD Review: A Mobile Internet-Capable Tablet For A Bargain Price

If you're like many the latest Apple --while a great tablet--might be overkill for you. Perhaps you just want a nice full-sized tablet that offers a wide array of apps and lets you browse the web and share on social media easily--and a tablet that will...

Great price for a full-sized budget tablet, especially with two year’s free 3G service

No Android KitKat. Screen ppi is a low 149

For a 10-inch tablet that lets you accomplish all the basics and then some, while only costing £149--including two years of free 3G--it’s not a bad device at all.

I bought the WiFi version for £125 which I had to return as the box was open. They couldn't replace like for like so I asked for the 3G version for the same price which they honoured. You get 250Mb data for two years included in the price. You can top...

Good value for money

Great tablet for the price. What sold it to me was the two years of 3G which was really easy to set up. Great picture on screen and camera isn't bad either. Only complaint would be it's a bit slow and when you are multitasking it has a tendency to freeze.

HP Tablet needs to be treated gently

This was a replacement for my earlier HP 10inch HD Slate. The Tablet has great features but unfortunately I dropped my previous one which fell awkwardly with the touch screen hitting the arm of the chair. The touch screen irrevocably damaged. These...
